British-Nigerian doctor, Dr. Olamide Orekunrin, and founder,  Flying Doctors Nigeria Ltd., an emergency air ambulance service, has been recognised as one of Times’s 2016 Next Generation Leaders.
The  28-year-old who established the first medical emergency  rescue services featured on the millennial list released by Times on Sunday.
Orekunrin was honoured for  providing an innovative medical service that has helped save many lives in a country with poor road and telecommunication infrastructure .
It stated that the company’s essential service has helped in airlifting patients in critical conditions from remote areas to hospitals  within and outside Nigeria.

                                                        Simone Biles

Others on the Time’s 2016 Next Generation Leaders list are Rwandan Conservationist, Olivier Nsengimani;Olympic Gymnast, 19-year-old Simone Biles.

I'm always inspired by the success stories of  young people like me. I celebrate a great woman, Orekunrin, who  started an air ambulance service to address a basic problem that led to the death of her 12 -year- old sister in an emergency situation in Nigeria.

Her story touches on the fact that there is a problem near you that your skill can address.
Break the rules, blaze the trail.
